Dr. Mantell

Dr. Mantell earned a bachelor of Science degree in nursing, M.A. degree in Speech Communication, and a PhD degree in Education, Counseling Psychology and guidance at the University of Minnesota. She also has a M.A. degree in Clinical Counseling at the University of Great Falls in Montana.

In addition to directing and teaching in a counseling program at the university level, Dr. Mantell's background includes experience as a professional clinician, with emphasis in therapy for women with a wide variety of conditions. She also has extensive clinical and research experience with all phases of the addictive disease and recovery process and has been employed as a Registered Nurse/Therapist, where she managed a variety of hospital units, including psychiatric, medical-surgical, pediatrics, physical rehabilitation, and brief physical exams for HIV, hepatitis, and STD. Her contributions are diverse and significant.

Dr. Mayhall

Dr. Mayhall earned a B.B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso, a J.D. in Law at the University of Texas at Austin, and M./A. in Experimental Psychology and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Counseling from New Mexico State University, where he had a number of articles in education and psychology published in professional journals.

His background includes university teaching and adult education, program development and implementation in public school, special education and juvenile justice settings, supervision of practicum and intern students, management of private business firms, public agencies and nonprofits, the practice of law and accounting and he has been actively involved in writing city and state legislation.

Dr. Smrcka

Dr. Smrcka received his doctorate in Educational foundations with majors in Psychology and Philosophy from the university of New Mexico. He also has an Educational Specialist Certificate in educational Administration and Supervision from the University of New Mexico and bachelors' degrees in Psychology and Chemistry from Sir George Williams University in Canada.

He has an extensive background in Education as founding president of American University of Les Cayes in Haiti, Vice President for Business Affairs at College of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and planning and grants administration coordinator at the University of Albuquerque.

Dr. Smrcka has been a professor at several universities in the United States and the Czech Republic in the fields of Education and Business, as well as a teacher art the secondary school level. He also has experience as a business consultant, market analyst, accountant, and psychologist.

Dr. Yao

Dr. Yao has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Mapua institute of Technology, Manila, Philippines, and Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering with a minor in Material Science from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Dr. Yao has 33 years of broad-based and varied experience in the academia, Research and development, utilities, engineering and management, finance and economics, construction, manufacturing and computer industries. Teaching experience include mathematics, physics, chemistry and engineering in the public school systems, colleges, technical vocational institutes, and universities of three countries, involving undergraduate and graduate students.
